The Arthur Hopwood Charitable Trust was established through a Deed dated 20 May 1949, by Arthur Hopwood, a businessman of Palmerston North. The trust makes annual grants to the total of $5000 to charitable organisations operating within the boundaries of the City of Palmerston North and those operating within a radius of 32km around the Chief Post Office of Palmerston North.
Applications need to include:
Latest set of audited or reviewed accounts.
Supporting information such as proposal budget for the year, copies of quotes etc.
Your organisations bank account for payment of successful grant.
Applications are open during October and November, annually.

Please note that late applications will not be accepted.
The Trustee will make a decision as to the grants by the 15 December and all applicants will be notified of the outcomes.
