We are expanding our digital service offering and embracing new ways for our customers to interact with us.
Create a will onlineFor much of our history the customer experience with Public Trust was a face-to-face interaction with staff at one of our imposing Public Trust buildings, which were designed to provide a sense of permanence, stability and security.
From the 1970s, we began to renovate our buildings to keep up with the times, later selling them to open new, friendlier and more welcoming customer centres. By the turn of the millennium, Public Trust mobile advisors and estate managers were on the road and in the lounges of customers, and also just a call away on the 0800 customer helpline. In 2000, Public Trust was on the digital highway with the launch of publictrust.co.nz
Today, Public Trust continues to place a high value on face-to-face interactions between customers and experts. We have the same passion for helping people to protect their legacies, whether at one of our modern customer centres, at a location of a customer's choice, or to meet over the phone or online, via a virtual meeting.
Since launching our digital services platform in 2020, Public Trust not only has seen phenomenal growth in digital – nearly 80% of will and enduring power of attorney (EPA) sales are now made online – traffic from our website to the platform has increased by 43% and we have made numerous other updates to optimise customers' experience.
For Public Trust, our digital services platform is the means to continue to provide new ways of working with everyday New Zealanders.
